Scotland + Venice is a partnership between the Scottish Arts Council, National Galleries of Scotland and British Council. The project aims to promote Scotland's participation in the prestigious international art festival, the Venice Biennale.

Rhubarb Web Design worked with a large number of individuals spanning several large organisations including Dundee Contemporary Arts and those listed above. Worked to a design specification produced by a Glasgow based design agency (Skratch Design) to ensure website was in keeping with the identity of the project.

We produced the front and back end of a powerful customised Drupal content managed website with functionality including:

• Blog facility including tiered user control structure with post moderation
• Video player integration
• News publication
• PDF Press Release publication
• RSS Feeds/Syndication
• Numerous dynamically generated content lists
• Image galleries
• Hierarchical page and menu structure
• Easy WYSIWYG visual editor for content creation and editing
• Page caching and css/js file compression for faster loading
• Contact form
